FAQ

• Can I come in cosplay without taking part in the competition?

  Of course! During Summer Meet at Rift, all cosplayers, regardless of participation in the competition, will be welcome.

• Will there be a dedicated dressing roomo on site?

  Taking care of the comfort of cosplayers, we will prepare a dressing room exclusively for your needs.

• Is there a fee to enter the event?

  NO. Meet at Rift Summer 2024 is a completely free event.

• Is it possible to leave suitcases?

  Yes. Use the dressing room or dedicated space for cosplayers.

• From what time will the dressing room be open?

  Cosplayers will have access to the dressing room during the hours of the event.

• Are there mirrors and access to the bathroom?

  There will be access to a mirror in the dressing room, but there will be no access to the bathroom.

• Will there be room for a cosplay fix?

  Yes. At the same time, you don’t have to worry about the necessary items – we will prepare a “cosplay first aid kit”.

• Can I enter the dressing room room with an assistant?

  Yes. However, we ask that after providing assistance, helpers leave the dressing room. For this purpose, we will avoid crowding, while providing more space and comfort for others. Please also remember that assistant doesn’t have covered travel and accommodation.

• Is participation in the competition reserved for adults?

  In order to participate in the competition, minors need the written consent of their legal guardian.

• How will the finalists be selected?

  Heroes of Cosplay finalists will be selected by the jury (6 people) and by online voting (1 person).

• Can I only participate in the online part?

  NO. Please register only those who are determined to participate in the entire competition, including the arrival to Warsaw on the date indicated by the organizer.

• Does the organizer cover travel costs to the event venue?

  Yes. All finalists can count on the cost of the train or plane and the hotel for themselves.

• Can I go on stage without taking part in the competition?

  NO. Due to the limited amount of time, the opportunity to perform on stage is dedicated only to the finalists of Heroes of Cosplay.

• Will there be a jury round?

  NO.

• Can I only participate in the final?

  NO. The first, online stage of the competition is required and will be used to select seven finalists.

• Will there be stage rehearsals?

  NO. However, the competition coordinator will show the participants around the stage where the final round of the competition will take place.

• Can I participate with a purchased outfit?

  NO. The Heroes of Cosplay competition is dedicated exclusively to cosplayers who have created their own costumes.

• Can I use the dressing room without taking part in the competition?

  The organizer will make every effort to prepare a dedicated space for cosplayers not participating in the competition.

• Citizens of which countries can participate in the competition?

  We invite residents of Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Greece and the whole East Europe to participate in Heroes of Cosplay.

• Can I not do the presentation and just walk through the stage?

  Yes. However, we would like to point out that the main evaluation criterion will be the stage performance.
